1.1. Camera and Photos

The App requires access to your device's camera and photo library to scan menus and process images.

• How we use it: To capture menu text and generate food visualizations.
• Data handling: Images are processed securely. We send menu images to our AI provider (Google Gemini API) strictly for the purpose of text extraction and image generation. We do not store your personal photos on our servers permanently after processing.

1.2. Location Data

The App requests access to your approximate location.

• How we use it: To identify nearby restaurants and group your scan history by location for your convenience.
• Data handling: Location data is processed on-device and used to query local places. We do not track your movements or sell your location history.

1.3. Usage Data and Analytics

We collect data to provide the app's core functionality and improve your experience:

• Identifiers: We use anonymous User IDs and Device IDs to manage your account, credit balance, and subscription status securely via Google Firebase and RevenueCat.
• Purchases: We track your purchase history to unlock features and grant credits.
• Usage & Diagnostics: We collect crash logs and performance data to fix bugs and improve app stability.
